NASHVILLE, TN (April 19, 2019) – National Pro Fastpitch and ZebraWeb.org have announced an official partnership, whereby ZebraWeb.org will serve as the digital platform for all NPF umpires.
Founded and created by N.J. Cogliati, a 26-year football official and technology integration executive, ZebraWeb.org works with over 20 sports, including collegiate, Olympic, and professional sports. ZebraWeb.org will be the online hub for all NPF umpires’ communications, training, scheduling, and payments throughout the season. In addition, the platform includes expanded features for umpire education such as its popular Game Film Exchange service.
“We are looking forward to integrating the ZebraWeb.org partnership with our NPF umpires and the NPF officiating program, in general,” stated NPF Supervisor of Officials, Mike Raynor. “This is a multi-dimensional platform that will make our jobs easier by centralizing our communication, training, and scheduling, while fast-tracking the financial side of invoicing and payments. Bottom line is, this system makes our league more efficient and effective and that is always a win.”
“We are very excited about the partnership with the NPF,” said Cogliati, ZebraWeb.org founder and President. “The goals of the NPF from training, developing and communicating with their Umpires, parallel the goals and missions of ZebraWeb.org. “
The ZebraWeb.org partnership will allow the NPF to track all the particulars about an umpire including dates worked, experience, tenure, certification, and personal information, while also allowing direct communication between league staff and umpires through an easy to use platform that is diverse and flexible. The platform is known for its simplified user interface allowing both league administrators and the umpires themselves to work together for easy scheduling and thorough communication.
The platform is considered by many to be the most feature-rich officials operations system and data reporting engine available.
League umpires will take the field on opening day with the NPF on May 28, when the Beijing Shougang Eagles host the Canadian Wild of Southern Illinois in their new home venue of Jackie Robinson Ballpark in Daytona Beach, FL.
