NASHVILLE, TN (April 11, 2019) – National Pro Fastpitch and Wilson announced a renewed partnership that will take the sporting goods company and its respected family of softball brands through 2020 with the premier professional softball league in the world.

Wilson has been a proud sponsor of the NPF since its inception in 2005. Throughout the decade and a half of partnership, Wilson has remained dedicated to supplying league players with gear and equipment from its family of brands that include Wilson, DeMarini, Louisville Slugger, Evoshield, and ATEC.

“We are thrilled to continue our partnership with NPF,” said Allison Parsell, Fastpitch Promotions Manager at Wilson. “We share the League’s passion and pure love of this game. Our team looks forward to working with the NPF and supporting their remarkable efforts around player development and in building a strong sense of community around the game.”

“Wilson and its family of brands are an important partnership for the league, our teams, and players,” commented NPF Commissioner, Cheri Kempf. “In addition to the top quality equipment provided to players, Wilson has been committed to growing the game of softball at the professional level since the league’s inception, a commitment that we all know has a trickle down affect on the dreams and aspirations of young players everywhere.”

In addition to league and team support, Wilson continues to have a corral of individual endorsements with the game’s top players. Those players include Amanda Chidester, Courtney Gano and Aleshia Ocasio of the Chicago Bandits and Sierra Romero of the USSSA Pride. In addition to those active players, the brand maintains endorsements with NPF and Olympic legends, Crystl Bustos and Natasha Watley.

“The platform the NPF has built allows Wilson to provide the world’s best softball players with the highest quality and most innovative gloves, bats, protective and other equipment in fastpitch today,” continued Parsell. “Wilson supports the NPF and its efforts to be a reliable home base for players who want to reach the next level in their careers.”

National Pro Fastpitch will open league play on May 28th when the Canadian Wild of Southern Illinois visit the Beijing Shougang Eagles in Daytona Beach. The 138 game regular season will conclude on August 11 and be followed by the Championship Series, held in Rosemont, IL August 15-19.
